Porovnávací měřicí metoda, při níž je hodnota měřené veličiny nahrazena známou hodnotou stejného druhu vyhledanou tak, aby účinky na měřidlo těchto dvou hodnot byly stejné.
A comparison method of measurement in which the value of the quantity to be measured is replaced by a known value of the same kind chosen in such a manner that the effects on the measuring instrument of these two values are the same.
